It equips undergraduate students with a range of modules and courses for the intellectual foundations of economics and management practices, and the postgraduate students with a more advanced and specialised training in specific fields of economics and business.

Parallel to the Faculty's vision in achieving economics, business and entrepreneurship excellence across the region, Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) strive to contribute in nation building in a bid to achieve the nation's goal to become an industrialized economy. Along with the vision, our mission is to provide the center of study in the area of economics, business and entrepreneurship as the main choice of students and academic through strategic teaching, learning, research and successful organization skills.

The aim is to adopt innovative approach such that a broad-based discipline is achieved, combining the studies of economics and business with information technologies. Global competitiveness is thus the focus. Strong theoritical foundations assure ethical professionalism is practical.

FEB has the advantage of preparing graduates with the entrepreneurial skills that satisfy the managerial and professional category in the job market. The broad-based curriculum enables graduates to specialize in a wider range of fields. The faculty is divided into two programs, which are Economics and Business. Within Economic program there are two specialized areas, which are International Economics and Industrial Economics. While under Business program, the one specialized area is Marketing.

The programs offered are market-driven having two common foundations. Quantitative method serves as one foundation while theory of economics and business principles serves as the other. Wrapped around these two foundation is information technology input. Faculty and industry linkages will be enhanced through industrial training.
