Is UNIMAS good?

Hey guys, how's your STPM result? Happy or sad?

Anyways, just accept it with an opened heart ya ^^ So after getting your STPM result, you might wonder which University you are going to choose in the 8 options given to you. My tip is simple, choose the one which is suit for your result and less competitors. If you get into UNIMAS, congrats, because it's a very rear place where people will lessly choose. However, I would say in UNIMAS, the experience will be different too. For one, you get to meet lots of etnics groups which you can't meet in West Malaysia, experience their culture yourself at the first hand.

Apart of that, there are lots of places to go. Use your duration time wisely to explore around in Sarawak and Sabah. In addition, don't believe what all the uncle aunty said, UNIMAS is not in Kampung area okay? For me it's not although there is no easy excess of transportation to the town and things are slightly expensive.

  1. Actually i quite dislike UNIMAS because of transportation to kuching and not fun...

    however, i stay will for 3 years because I just want get the valued degree. It's really worth even need suffering so much.

  3. I got a place there for bioteknologi sumber, is the faculty and lecturers there nice? =)

  4. i got into unimas but i have mixed feelings. Should i try for at least one semester? is their degree recognize?

    Sam: hye :) what made you think so? It's public uni certainly recognized. Never underestimate UNIMAS, it's serious in improving the standard every now and then. FYI, Unimas ranking in ASIA from nothing to 165 out of 500. I believe we could achieve better one in future to come. UNIMAS produced many good students which not only good in term of result but in interpersonal skills etc. Have good faith :) I've no regret at all
